According to some members of the Pack of the Primordial Feather ([link]), the Pack has been involved in many "Vivus Wars". ([link]) (For those of you who don't know, Vivus are dinosaurs* that are supposed to be extinct but somehow survive to this day, seemingly because they hatch out of eggs that are surrounded with magical protection. To find out more, visit Traumador the Tyrannosaur's blog, brought to you directly by a Vivus specimen: [link]) While I haven't heard of any personal accounts regarding the details on these wars, here's my impression of one, between the Pack of the Primordial Feather and the Gondwanian Carcharodontosaurids. At the bottom right, a Deinonychus antirrhopus takes on a Carcharodontosaurus saharicus. (No, she's not doing it alone, no doubt she has backup below**.) In the background, a Therizinosaurus cheloniformis faces off against a Mapusaurus roseae. To the left, a Giganotosaurus carolinii is distracted*** by a Troodon formosus long enough for a Tyrannosaurus rex to attack from the side.

*I'm not sure if the term just applies to dinosaurs, I don't know of many equivalents of non-dinosaurian "Vivus", but allegedly some will be showing up.
**The idea of any reasonable number of dromaeosaurids smaller than Achillobator giganticus taking their chances with multi-ton enemies is as ridiculous as it sounds, but the Crimson Talons (as the dromaeosaurids in the Pack are collectively known as) appear to be well trained in attacking large opponents, even when undoubtedly outmatched. ([link])
***I really need to work on drawing dinosaurs from this point of view, this one is somewhat lame.
